The highly anticipated second season of award-winning rova original podcast Tic-Heads with Uncle Tics and Clint has just launched with a jaw-dropping interview with Scottish superstar, Lewis Capaldi whose Tourette syndrome diagnosis in 2022 made international headlines.

Over a 15-minute chat, Capaldi and Leighton Clarke — aka Uncle Tics — compare their experiences, discussing advances in technology for Tourette's sufferers, and Capaldi talks about his documentary, ‘How I’m Feeling Now’.

“Lewis follows me on TikTok now, so he’s honestly one of the boys. It was epic to talk to someone that famous - he’s so cool,” says Clarke.

Clarke is a Hamilton videographer who was catapulted into internet notoriety in 2020 when he began sharing his life on social media. He now has Aotearoa’s most followed TikTok account with 4.3 million subscribers, and almost 90 million likes.

In 2021 he joined forces with The Edge’s, Clinton Randell, and launched Tic-Heads with Uncle Tics and Randell, talking about everything from life with Tourette’s to social media stardom, Māori culture, and more.

In season two, the journey continues with a focus on real issues, from the cost of living to disabilities, racism and mental health — all presented via Clarke’s unique humour — and often expletive-filled take on the world.
