Judith Lucy Navigates a Life Worth Living Post-Covid

Following her 2020 ABC podcast Overwhelmed & Dying, Judith Lucy’s podcast ‘Overwhelmed & Living’ addresses life after lockdown in what she refers to as the “the crap pancake”.

Launched in October 2022, Judith talks ‘real world problems’ including what it was like to navigate life in Melbourne, through one of the strictest lockdowns in the world.

Over six episodes, Judith meets everyday people to discuss how their values have shifted, and why this is propelling big life changes and even bigger questions about what matters most.

Accessible, raw and candid, Judith Lucy is larger than life. She is equal parts ‘quirky neigbour’ as she is the oddball aunt, or even your work BFF who knows all the gossip and is ready to spill the tea at any given time.

The series combines her personal stories and experiences that play out like monologues, anchoring the over-arching themes that guide us through the series. In-the-field interviews add to the texture of the series, expanding the themes and topics beyond Judith’s own perspective.

Judith’s personality and stories shine through carefully scripted narration in a podcast that will leave you reflecting on the big and small questions, including what it means to live a life, that in a nutshell, doesn’t suck.
